IAMGOLD Corporation announced in a news release that they have discovered a new gold-bearing zone at the Côté Gold Joint Venture Project, located 125 km southwest of Timmins and 175 km north of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. The Côté Gold Project is a 70:30 joint venture between IAMGOLD Corporation and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd (SMM Gold Côté Inc.).
